Arsene is a young man obsessed with being robbed, so he sets traps in his crumbling mansion. He lures a pair of kleptomaniac young women (counterculture icons Bulle Ogier and Bernadette Lafont) inside as a test, but unwittingly becomes the agent of his own destruction.
