About
A former 1915 schoolhouse where the movie theater fills the old auditorium — watch from couches and easy chairs with a beer from the neighboring brewery. Relaxed, family-friendly, and unlike any multiplex.
Kennedy School opened in 1915 as a Concordia neighborhood elementary school and educated local kids for decades before closing. Slated for demolition, it was saved and reborn in 1997 as a McMenamins hotel, brewpub, and theater. Today you watch movies from couches and overstuffed chairs in the old auditorium.
