PAM CUT's main, roughly 290-seat cinema inside the Portland Art Museum, programming repertory classics, restorations, international and independent films, and partner series like the Criterion Collection. The downtown companion to PAM CUT's Tomorrow Theater on SE Division.
The Whitsell Auditorium is the Portland Art Museum's cinema, tucked into its downtown campus on the South Park Blocks, and for decades the home of the Northwest Film Center's screenings. As part of the museum's major campus expansion it was fully renovated — new seats, projection, sound, and streaming capability — and reopened in January 2026 as 'PAM CUT @ The Whitsell,' the flagship screening room of PAM CUT (Center for an Untold Tomorrow).
