Quick site update. A few new things are live, plus a few tools you might not have found yet.
Favorites and My List
Every film page now has a SAVE FILM button, and every theater page has one too. Tap it and the film or theater goes to your own list: pdxmovietimes.com/my. Films you want to see, theaters you want to keep an eye on, all in one place.
No account, no email, no password. Your list saves in your browser, on that device. The catch: it won't sync between your phone and your computer. Whatever you save stays where you saved it.
Dark mode
The site now matches your device. Dark phone, dark site. Light phone, light site. Want to override it? There's a switch to pick light or dark yourself, and the site remembers. Midnight showtime browsing, now easier on the eyes.
New venue: Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
The Schnitz is on the site now. It's the Oregon Symphony's home, and they screen films with the score played live by the orchestra, the movie up above the stage. Psycho, Powaqqatsi, Home Alone, Star Wars, and Metropolis are all in the series. Showtimes and tickets on the theater page: pdxmovietimes.com/theater/arlene-schnitzer-concert-hall.
Worth a look
In case you haven't found them yet: you can sort the Movies page by Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, or IMDb score, by most showings, by what's playing soonest, or A to Z. There are genre and release filters too, plus search.
That's the news. Thanks for reading, and keep the suggestions coming through the About page: pdxmovietimes.com/about.
