A sheltered house pet chameleon is stranded in the Mojave Desert after accidentally falling out of his owner’s car. He wanders into a town called Dirt, facing a severe water crisis. When asked of his identity, he names himself Rango, and after accidentally killing one of the town’s biggest predators, he proves himself worthy to take on the town’s struggles.
